Of course, you're right. But I think the biology of all Bolboceratinae is similar (it's not related to mammals dens in the least). In my opinion, the occurrence of O. armiger near burrows of european rabbit or other mammal burrows is clearly accidental. I've observed hundreds of individuals of O. armiger swarming in localities without occurrence of mammal burrows, as well as e.g. in forests.
