Beautiful beetles! I've never seen this species. It is apparently very rare in Poland :-(

Why they looked for me as females: Practicaly, the only meloids to meet n PL are violaceus and proscarabaeus. Both have males with bended antenae. It would be great to compare male courtship in one of those with your decorus with "clasical" antennae to see the function of these bended antennae in violaceus and proscarabaeus! Is there any chance for closer footage, more exposing antennae?. Anyway from your available recordings we see that the male probably do not apply his antennae in any special way!
