Longhorn beetles fauna (Coleoptera, Cerambycidae) of  Pilicka Forest.

   Abstract. On the basis of the material collected from 1981 - 1995 in Puszcza Pilicka, an analysis literature data 76 species of Cerambycidae were recorded. 29 of them have for the first time been recorded from the mentioned area and seven news species for the Malopolska Upland. 

SUMMARY

Field and laboratory studies allowed to record 76 species of longhorn beetles occuring in Puszcza Pilicka. This makes about 40 % of Polish fauna and 29 species are new for this area. Only 3 species (Arhopalus ferus (Muls.), Cerambyx cerdo L., and Cerambyx scopoli Fuessl.) reported earlier in literature were not recorded. It gives in total 76 species recorded in the area.  It from among the most interesting and rare species Cerambycidae it was one should mention occurrent Ergates faber, Acmaeops marginatus, Necydalis major, Obrium cantharinum.
